Mini Club del Libro

Mini Club del Libro are workshops created with your bilingual kid in mind. My courses are exclusively for bilingual kids (English-Spanish),  who need some motivation to read in Spanish. 

I created a community of students that your child will relate to. This will boost their interest and confidence to read in Spanish. 

Together we will discover fun books, stories, and characters that will sparkle their curiosity toward Spanish literature, and reading in Spanish will become a habit! 

During the course, we will be reading one book together. Your kid will read one chapter before each session. During the session, I will create a conversation around the chapter. We will treat specific points (vocabulary, reading comprehension, grammar, etc.) in a fun way. And we will have quizzes, prizes, and dynamic activities that will keep them engaged throughout the session. 

The books that I pick are popular titles amongst young readers in Spain. The topics are appealing and fun for their age: intrigue, espionage, mystery... They have all the elements so that your kid will want to keep reading in Spanish! 

Age: Ideally, between 9 and 14 years old but we welcome any kid or teenager with the ability to read and comprehend Spanish texts.

Spanish level: They will need to be able to fully communicate in Spanish. Mistakes don't matter! Their Spanish doesn't need to be fully native, they just need to be able to keep up with a regular conversation in Spanish. 

Reading level in Spanish: Their reading skills don't have to be perfect, but they will need to be advanced in order to keep up with the stories. I will help them with comprehension and vocabulary.
